The PositionWe are seeking a Senior Town Planner (minimum expected 5 years) demonstrated statutory planning experience. This appointment will be a full-time permanent basis & the position is available for immediate start. You will work on a vast array of projects with highly talented people & will be supported by a mentor to steward your career. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following attributes, skills & experience: Positive, collegiate & customer focussed attitude. Self-motivated & ability to work autonomously on projects. High level written & oral communication skills.Knowledge of the Qld planning and approvals systemKnowledge & experience with the Gold Coast Town Plan (experience with other SEQ town plans desirable).Ability to project manage development with Government, developers, consultants & community stakeholders as required.Commercial focus, service and result orientated approach.Highly developed organisation & time management skills, ability to meet deadlines.Possess a current driver's licence.
