We are now recruiting for a hard-working and experienced Storeperson /General Hand to join our team full time based out of our Canning Vale Distribution Centre.

The Depot consists of office and depot staff including a fleet of trucks who together service the stock requirements of the shops, local conferences and the external contracts and partnerships which exist to provide welfare within the community. Generally, the Depot services operate in the greater Perth metropolitan area only although there are also smaller levels of service provided to regional areas across WA. About the Role:

The Storeperson / General Hand works under the direction of the Supply Coordinator to ensure that stock, production and order needs are accurately executed in a safe and timely manner.

Permanent full time position

Working across Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm

Ensuring all stock, raw and processed is stored in the correct manner

Help in the collation and preparation of driver deliveries and collections

Replenishment of Sorters stock and supply to be maintained

Accurately pick and pack stock orders

Operation of the bale press and correct handling of processed bales in a safe manner

Move furniture, beds and other items as required manually or with the use of trolleys and other apparatus

Administration work including collating information and entering it into spreadsheets.

Induction and Training will be provided to the successful candidate.


About you:

Previous experience working in a warehouse, including order picking

The ability to work with minimal supervision and also be a team player.

Physical fitness to fulfil the inherent requirements of the position.

A strong work ethic - being punctual, hard-working and ability to take direction and implement it.
