Genus Services and Genus Pole Foundations Australia are subsidiaries of GenusPlus Group providing critical telecommunication infrastructure projects, asset inspection and maintenance services for our clients nationally, across multidisciplined sectors.
**The Role**
Genus Services and PFA are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Bid Manager** to join our Perth office. The Bid Manager will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive the company's development and growth initiatives by developing and executing bid strategies aligned with Genus's goals.
This role will involve leading efforts to increase the probability of success in securing new agreements through collaboration with operational teams across the end-to-end bid and procurement process. This includes identifying new opportunities, managing risks and opportunities, handling tendering and proposals, and ensuring the successful implementation of contract deliverables.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Identifying new opportunities and maintaining tendering and project pipelines while tracking bid success rates
- Developing and maintaining a bid management framework, encompassing case studies, capability statements, and standardised templates
- Leading the development of bid-specific win strategies aligned with customer objectives to increase the probability of success
- Analysing client procurement documentation to understand and strategise the operational and commercial commitments
- Facilitating the risk assessment and management process of new opportunities to assess, understand, and mitigate all financial, operational, and commercial risks associated with client procurement events
- Leading bid submissions, including the allocation of bid team roles and responsibilities, managing the bid clarification and contractual departure process, and drafting and submitting bid content
- Developing and maintaining client stakeholder management plans that identify key client stakeholders, objectives, and effective partnering strategies

**Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience**
- Qualifications in business, contracts/commercial law or other relevant technical field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in winning bids through effective proposal management.
- Strong understanding of the bid lifecycle, proposal writing, development, and contract negotiation.
- Strong business acumen, including strong professional writing and development of business case documentation
- Demonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements
- High-level stakeholder relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, schedule and plan.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
- Internet and PC proficiency with advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Outlook Skills.
- Demonstrated level of analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
