Junior Town Planner Position
You will be working within a Planning and Projects team contributing to the delivery of residential projects. You will work in a fast-paced team environment on various projects across regional NSW.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret local and state government planning strategies, policies, directions, and legislation.
* Review building design documentation, drawings, and reports to ensure acceptable development is proposed.
* Coordinate fee proposals and technical advice for developments and their approval pathways.
* Prepare environmental effects statements and coordinate supporting documentation.
* Undertake desktop site analysis and research in relation to town planning provisions, development opportunities, and constraints.
* Coordinate application submissions to relevant authorities.
Requirements
* Degree qualifications in a planning related area or other suitable planning qualifications.
* Unrestricted Australian working rights.
* Current Australian Driver's License.
* Reading and understanding technical drawings diagrams.
* Understanding of NSW planning codes, Australian Standards, and the NCC.
* Proficient oral/written communication skills including the ability to write complex and/or technical reports.
