Role Purpose:
To manage and deliver property and infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budget, and timelines. The Senior Project Manager will lead larger, more complex projects and provide strategic oversight across multiple workstreams.
For Project Manager:
* Plan, execute, and close projects within agreed scope, time, and budget.
* Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
* Coordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
* Manage procurement processes and contract administration.
* Identify and mitigate project risks; maintain compliance with governance standards.
* Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and internal teams.
For Senior Project Manager (additional):
* Oversee multiple projects or large-scale programs, ensuring strategic alignment.
* Engage with senior stakeholders and provide high-level reporting and advice.
* Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and capability development.
* Drive commercial outcomes and ensure quality standards across all deliverables.
* Contribute to business development through client relationship management and proposal support.
Qualifications & Experience:
Project Manager:
* Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
* 3–5 years' experience delivering property or infrastructure projects, ideally in the Tasmanian market.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Senior Project Manager:
* 5+ years' experience in consultancy or client-side project management, ideally on projects >$10M and in the Tasmanian market.
* Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
* Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP or equivalent preferred).
Skills & Attributes:
* Commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
* Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
