Cardijn College invites applications from enthusiastic and committed educators for the position of Reception Teacher at our Galilee Campus, commencing Term 3.

* Cardijn College Marian (Noarlunga Downs) caters for students from Years 7–12, offering a broad curriculum and rich co‐curricular opportunities.
* Cardijn College Marcellin (Christie Downs) specialises in vocational education and training for Years 10–12 and beyond, supporting strong pathways into employment and further study.
* Cardijn College Galilee (Aldinga), home to this vacancy, educates students from Reception to Year 9, providing a nurturing, inclusive environment with a strong emphasis on ecological awareness, student wellbeing, and a personalised sense of belonging.
About the Role
The Reception Teacher will work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, parents and caregivers to support positive learning outcomes for students and to contribute to ongoing educational renewal within the College.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum
* Establishing and maintaining a safe, inclusive and productive learning environment
* Responding to individual learner needs, including the development of Personalised Plans for Learning where appropriate
* Assessing, recording and reporting on student achievement using required systems and processes
* Employing effective behaviour management strategies consistent with College policies
* Building strong, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families
* Actively participating in professional learning and collaborative practices

* Operate in accordance with the Charter for Teachers in South Australian Catholic Schools
* Uphold and actively support the Catholic ethos, mission and values of Cardijn College
* Meet the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
* Engage in ongoing professional learning to strengthen teaching practice and improve student outcomes
Applicants must have:
* Current Teacher Registration in South Australia
* Teacher Accreditation in Catholic Education SA (or willingness to obtain)
* A commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the College
* Current Working With Children Check and Catholic Police Clearance
* Valid RRHAN‐EC, Mandatory Notification training, and applicable First Aid certification
