The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic Merchandising Manager to join our leadership team and drive the commercial success of our retail operations. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the customer experience and maximize the potential of our diverse product range.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Excellence
* Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize sales and profitability
* Analyze sales data, customer trends, and market insights to inform ranging decisions
* Manage retail inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability and turnover
* Monitor and improve gross margins across all retail categories
Visual Merchandising
* Create compelling product displays and store layouts that drive customer engagement
* Implement Priceline promotional campaigns and seasonal merchandising programs
* Maintain exceptional visual standards in line with brand guidelines
* Design and execute point-of-sale materials and in-store communications
Supplier & Category Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with supplier partners
* Negotiate favorable terms and promotional support
* Manage product ranging and introduction of new lines
* Coordinate supplier visits and training sessions
Customer Experience
* Enhance the retail customer journey through strategic product placement
* Develop cross-selling and upselling opportunities
* Gather customer feedback and implement improvements
* Support promotional events and community engagement activities
Essential Requirements
Experience & Skills
* Minimum 3 years retail merchandising or category management experience
* Proven track record in driving sales growth and margin improvement
* Strong analytical skills with experience in retail reporting systems
* Excellent visual merchandising and display creation abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Understanding of Priceline IT Systems would be very beneficial

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible approach to working hours including weekends
Preferred Requirements
* Previous experience in pharmacy, health, or beauty retail environments
* Formal leadership or management qualification
* Knowledge of Priceline systems, processes, and Sister Club program
* Experience with loyalty program management and customer engagement strategies
* Formal qualification in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, or Retail Management
* Experience with planogram software or space management tools
* Training and development certification or experience
