Contract Opportunity | $85 - $92 per hour + Super | Initial 3-month Contract + Possible extensions
**Your new company**
Our client is one of the largest water distributors/retailers in Australia. They are owned by five shareholding councils. Moreover, they are providing services to 1. 5 million residents. They are looking for a contracts advisor to be part of their field services division.
**Your new role**
As a contract advisor your will provide support by ensuring contractual issues, spend, and risks are managed. Furthermore, you will lead business improvement and change implementation.
Additional accountabilities:
- Establishing and maintaining contracts within the appropriate systems, specifically Ellipse and Open Windows.
- Work with the Group Procurement team and contract administrators to manage contract administration, compliance and reporting, including contract milestone setup, extending contracts, updating pricing catalogues, maintaining safety/insurance documentation and entering variations
- Develop and lead the delivery of clear Payment Claim processes ensuring the on-time payment of monthly claims / invoices.
- Lead meetings with key delivery partners relating to contractual issues, KPI's and commercial items.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You have detailed knowledge of procurement and contract lifecycle. Additionally, you have experience in managing contracts within an ERP system. You have the ability to lead improvement projects and change activities. Moreover, you have the ability to gather information, develop reports and make appropriate recommendations.
Additional qualifications
- Advanced Excel including formulas and data analytics, ERP (Ellipse preferred) skills
