Your new role:
As a Occupational Therapist - Senior, you will provide high-level clinical care while contributing to service development, education and quality improvement within the Hand Therapy team by:
Delivering advanced, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services for patients with hand, elbow and wrist conditions
Acting as a clinical reference point within the hand therapy team, supporting complex decision-making and daily service demands
Contributing to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives that enhance patient outcomes
Providing supervision, education and support to less experienced clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
Working collaboratively within an interprofessional team to ensure safe, compassionate and patient-centred care
About you:
You are a skilled and motivated clinician who brings strong leadership and advanced clinical capability to your practice, with:
Demonstrated expertise in hand therapy and delivery of complex Occupational Therapy interventions
Strong clinical reasoning skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams
Experience providing supervision, training and clinical guidance to junior staff and students
A commitment to quality improvement, evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
