Job Opportunity:
* Nurse Home Visitor - Aboriginal Health Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Home Visitor to join our multidisciplinary team in a remote Indigenous health service. As a Nurse Home Visitor, you will be working with pregnant women and their families to provide culturally safe home visiting services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide culturally safe home visits to women who are eligible for the program and their families.
* Utilize the nursing process to deliver content at home visits that maintain alignment with client-centered principles.
* Work collaboratively with teams to improve skills in delivering care in line with the Program model.
* Carry a caseload of up to 25 clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Registered Nurse (Division 1) with at least 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
* AHPRA registration.
* An understanding of Primary Health Care, particularly as it applies to Indigenous people.
* A current Working With Children Card.
