UGL Defence has been awarded the Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels Network. We are seeking a Maintenance (MA) Supervisor to join our team in an exciting opportunity within the Australian Defence environment, supporting national security.
This role offers significant autonomy to manage your portfolio, with the benefit of being home every night, and is based at RAAF Amberley with travel across Defence Fuel Sites in South East Queensland.
The Role
The Maintenance Supervisor, reporting to the O&M Superintendent, will oversee the operation of assets and sites in Southeast Queensland. Responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing maintenance trades and subcontractors
* Ensuring timely delivery of maintenance services aligned with management plans
* Monitoring site compliance and operational standards
* Managing maintenance budgets
* Promoting safety and compliance across all sites
About You
You are a proactive team player with extensive experience in maintenance management, preferably in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industries, with relevant trade or tertiary qualifications. Experience in Defence Fuels is highly regarded. Key skills include:
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Commitment to safety standards
* Ability to obtain NV-1 security clearance
* Willingness to travel regularly across Southeast Queensland
