In your new role you will be providing expert, effective and efficient clinical care in clinical research in the oncology field. You will be participating in assessing and planning of clinical studies with an Oncology focus.
About us:
The Clinical Reasearch Unit is responsible for coordinating and participating in clinical research studies conducted by the Principal Investigator within CHHHS. The Clinical Nurse will participate in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating subject care and clinical research studies with a focus on Oncology research but may be required to work within all areas of the Multidisciplinary team when required due to operational needs within the Research Unit. The Clinical Research unit applies contemporary human resource management principles to ensure that the unit is meeting legislative standards and Queensland Health policy standards.

About your role:
* Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective patient care working within the applicable regulatory and statutory guidelines.
* Effectively manage self-development and work with the Nurse Unit Manger to meet unit nursing staff development needs.
* Provide effective and efficient clinical care in clinical research and work in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager – Clinical Research Unit and Principal Investigators to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.
