Engineer meaningful civil projects while working a few blocks from the beach.
This is a hands‐on Civil Engineer role where you'll take ownership of design and delivery, work closely with experienced leaders, and be part of a genuinely close‐knit team. If you value solid engineering, good people and a lifestyle that includes lunchtime runs and post‐work gym sessions, this one is worth a look.
About the role:
You'll work across a broad mix of urban and regional civil projects, contributing from concept through to construction. Day to day, this includes civil design and documentation, engineering calculations and reports, and involvement in project and design management. You'll collaborate closely with senior engineers, liaise directly with clients and authorities, and take responsibility for producing clear, accurate and well‐considered deliverables.
This is not a siloed role. You'll be trusted to manage your workload, flag risks early, and take pride in the quality of what you put your name on.
What we're looking for:
Essential:
* A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
* Consulting experience in civil engineering, ideally across urban or infrastructure projects
* Confidence using tools such as AutoCAD and 12d, with exposure to drainage and modelling software
* Strong fundamentals in design standards, documentation and engineering judgement
* The ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and meet agreed deadlines
Desirable:
* Around 2-3+ years' experience in a consulting environment
* Industry memberships or working toward chartership
* Exposure to project or design management responsibilities
About the Team
You'll be based on the Sunshine Coast, just two blocks from the beach. The office is surrounded by cafés and restaurants, with free parking close by. The team is small, supportive and collaborative, with a mix of experienced engineers and people still growing their careers.
Lunchtime runs and after‐work gym sessions are common, but participation is optional, what matters most is that people look out for each other and do great work.
Why join?
* Real career progression as the team continues to grow
* Exposure to a wide variety of civil projects, not just one niche
* Support from senior engineers who are approachable and invested in your development
* A coastal lifestyle without sacrificing technical challenge or career momentum
* An extra day of leave on your birthday each year
* Study Assistance Program to further your development
* Top up paid maternity and paternity leave
* Annual $250 wellbeing subsidy to put towards your gym membership or other healthy lifestyle initiatives
* Generous referral bonus scheme to help us grow our team
