About the role
An opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly, supportive and experienced team at Adelaide Hills Medical Clinic Stirling.
We are looking for an exceptional team member and are open to this being either a Part Time or Casual role - you choose what suits your lifestyle!
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated with a sound background in patient care and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment and industry. Proficient computer skills are essential with a knowledge of medical software including Best Practices desirable.
This is a challenging and stimulating position but also very rewarding. You will work within a friendly team environment to support doctors and assist patients in managing their health.
Nursing tasks are varied and examples include:
* Chronic Condition Management
* Triage and management of acutely unwell patients
* Immunisations of children and adults
* Wound care
* Health assessments including workplace medicals
* Assisting with minor procedures
* Results notification and patient education
* Cold chain management
Our ideal candidate will have qualities, skills and experience including:
* A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to benefit patients, staff and the wider group
* Chronic Condition Management experience is desired
* Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a high standard of work values
* Initiative and enthusiasm for quality improvement and professional development
* Previous experience working in General Practice and/or emergency preferable
* Strong communication and time management skills
* A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
* AHPRA registration essential - Enrolled or Registered Nurses are welcome to apply
