**Position Information**:
Queanbeyan West Public School has 449 students with 17 mainstream classes and 4 support classes. We have 12% Aboriginal students and 28% LOTE students. Queanbeyan is located very close to the ACT border.
Teamwork, collegiality, and collaborative practice are an important part of our school ethos. The school has dedicated teachers and there is a balance of early career and highly experienced teachers. Our teachers are highly motivated and committed to providing, an inclusive and safe learning environment as well as high quality teaching and learning programs.

**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach infants and primary (K-6) with a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of how to develop and deliver high quality differentiated teaching and learning programs in literacy and numeracy.
Ability to develop a positive classroom learning environment and implement inclusive strategies to engage and support a diverse range of students.
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all students, staff, parents and the wider community to build authentic relationships.
Ability and/or willingness to lead or support extra-curricular programs such as public speaking and debating and sport that will add to the culture of Queanbeyan West Public School.
