We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager - Structures for a state government department based in East Perth.
This role is offered on a six month basis and covers the following duties:
* Develop bridge maintenance and improvement programs in the region
* Perform specialist monitoring, assessment and reporting of bridge asset condition and performance against agreed levels of service, intervention standards, environmental and product standards
* Identify gaps and deficiencies in bridge assets and develop solutions and priorities to optimise performance
* Review proposals and provide input to project development and delivery, including project budgets and timeframes
* Provide advice for the development and maintenance of the asset with respect to bridges and management plans
* Manage the research and collation of information, analysis of data and use of corporate support tools for bridge asset management
* Undertake the capture of retaining wall and noise wall asset data
* Assist with the Timber Forever initiative including documentation and reporting
Essential:
Substantial skill, knowledge and experience in:
* One or more of structures asset management, design, construction or maintenance and refurbishment
* Knowledge of bridge works planning and programming
* Project management, including project estimating
DESIRABLE:
* A Degree in Structural Engineering
