**Electrical Tradesperson Opportunity**
About the Role
Evolution Mining's Cowal site offers a unique chance to work as an Electrical Tradesperson. This role involves maintaining and calibrating equipment, diagnosing faults, and leading shutdown activities. As part of a tight-knit crew, you will be responsible for working across a diverse gold processing operation with exposure to cutting-edge instrumentation and electrical systems.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with at least 3 years of experience in heavy industry or mining. You should be confident working with high-voltage systems, instrumentation, and fault diagnostics, and take pride in doing things safely, efficiently, and with a touch of ingenuity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintaining and calibrating equipment like Vega density gauges, Yokogawa pressure sensors, and Siemens PLCs
2. Diagnosing faults and responding to breakdowns across the processing plant
3. Leading shutdown activities and mentoring apprentices when needed
