Allied Health Program Assistant (Administration) | $29.57 per hour + salary packaging
Permanent Full Time (40 hours per week with a monthly ADO) – 4 days per week considered.
Working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
About The Role
Grampians Health Ballarat Allied Health seeks a Program Assistant (Administration) to join our team in a permanent ongoing capacity.
As a Program Assistant you will support community members along their allied healthcare journey by providing first‐class customer service for our clientele and dedicated administration support to our clinical teams. You will be part of a small friendly team of "PA's", working collaboratively to achieve our goals.
The role offers variety, including front‐of‐house reception duties for our allied health programmes at the Ballarat Base Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC), operation of the QEC switchboard, and work behind the scenes supporting departments with wait‐list management, data entry and other day‐to‐day tasks.
Skills And Experience
* Excellent communicator, committed to providing customer service at the highest standard – including the ability to identify and solve problems constructively, listen and relay information.
* Thrives in a fast‐paced work environment, has good judgement and can adapt to competing demands.
* Previous experience in administration or customer service in a health environment is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
* Manage front‐of‐house reception duties for allied health programmes.
* Operate the QEC switchboard efficiently.
* Assist with wait‐list management and data entry.
* Perform general administrative support tasks for the clinical teams.
