About The Team
As a large company operating across various regulatory environments, our Risk & Compliance team serves as trusted advisors, offering practical and commercial advice when needed most.
About The Role
As the Compliance Manager-Coles 360, you'll work closely with the Coles' 360 Business Unit to ensure its growth is supported by effective compliance measures. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing timely, accurate, and trusted regulatory and compliance advice to the business.
2. Reviewing supplier engagement practices to ensure alignment with existing BU practices.
3. Identifying key compliance obligations, including competition and consumer law, grocery code, privacy, marketing, contractual, and other relevant areas.
4. Defining compliance obligations for regulatory areas.
5. Developing initiatives for continuous improvement.
6. Embedding compliance requirements into business planning and practices.
7. Fostering a strong compliance culture by prioritizing regulatory compliance and customer outcomes.
About You And Your Skills
1. Detailed knowledge of Competition and Consumer Law requirements applicable to supermarket retailing, including the Food and Grocery Code of Conduct.
2. Strong experience in a relevant role such as compliance or similar discipline.
3. Proven ability to investigate and resolve issues across multiple stakeholder groups.
4. Knowledge of compliance and risk management frameworks highly regarded.
5. Ability to work across and understand multiple IT systems.
6. Experience in documenting policies, procedures, and tools to support compliance.
7. Experience in building compliance programs, including control design, monitoring, issue investigation, and resolution.
8. Significant experience in stakeholder management.
9. Experience in preparing reports for senior managers.
