About the Role:
This leadership position involves overseeing daily retail operations, analysing sales trends, and contributing to long-term business growth as a Rural Products Sales Manager.
* Lead, develop and support a retail sales team to deliver on business and customer objectives
* Drive sales and identify new business opportunities across rural merchandise categories
* Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with local producers and agribusiness clients
* Analyse seasonal trends and ensure product availability aligns with local needs
* Manage stock, merchandising and compliance with safety and handling standards
* Oversee retail operations to ensure a high-performing, customer-focused environment
About You:
* Demonstrated experience in retail management and rural merchandise operations
* A strong background in business development and stakeholder relationship management
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach and lead a team
* Solid understanding of rural products, including animal health and crop protection
* The ability to interpret sales data and trends to inform localised strategies
* A current driver's licence (essential) and forklift licence (desirable)
