YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provides fun, stimulating, and safe care for primary and secondary school children before and after school. At OSHC, children have the opportunity to participate in cooking, sport, music, art, dance, and more.
The Y Queensland's childcare services have been at the heart of Australian communities for over 40 years, beginning with our first early learning service in Brisbane in 1977, focusing on helping children grow in body, mind, and spirit.
We are currently recruiting casual OSHC Educators to join our YMCA Helensvale Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.

YMCA Helensvale Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located at Helensvale State Primary School.
Our service offers a wide range of fun, stimulating, and appropriate programs that reflect real-world experiences and home settings, encouraging community, leadership, and social skills development in a caring environment.
Our philosophy emphasizes community and belonging, children's agency, and spontaneous, multi-age play during middle childhood. We welcome educators with diverse skills to share and enrich our programs.
About the role
As an OSHC Educator, you will care for children before and after school, and during school holidays, facilitating engaging activities such as science experiments, outdoor games, painting, and musical activities.

Am I a good match?
- Currently studying or have completed a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor in children's services or related fields
- A fun, imaginative personality
- Willing to obtain or hold current First Aid and CPR certification
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Positive Notice Blue Card
