Our client is a dynamic national company servicing the commercial, aged care and marine sectors, with a strong focus on the mining industry. They are recognised for their exceptional commitment to customer service and the ability to deliver technically competent, safe and innovative solutions.

This role's responsibility are to plan, direct, control, co-ordinate the daily operational activities of the branch to achieve consistent branch targets. This will include all activities from quoting to delivery, and management of staff.

**The role**:

- Directly manage and coordinate all Technicians under the direction of the NSW scheduler
- Oversee the day-to-day work of the field service personnel who perform on site routine services including installations, repairs and maintenance and manage performance, customer satisfaction and compliance
- Forward planning to ensure the team is utilised efficiently through monitoring defects, quotes, follow up processes and reviewing scheduled work calendar
- Attend sites to complete audits as required
- Support Technicians with any urgent issues on sites
- Quoting/estimating
- Maintain and monitor strong customer service
- Interact directly with high-profile clients
- Develop and maintain the current team you will be managing and identify training needs
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Evaluate and improve operational performance
- Conduct weekly toolbox meetings
- Drive initiatives in the branch and organisation that contribute to long-term operational excellence
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance within standards, WHS Policy, procedures and SWMS
- Carry out regular service, breakdown and upgrade works across all areas of the business

**What we're looking for**:

- Business Manager qualification or similar (desirable)
- Electrical, trade or fire services industry background (essential)
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team whilst meeting KPI's and deadlines
- Strong IT skills across Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and systems such as SimPRO
- Strong focus on quality and safety
- Proficient with administration, business process and function
- Quoting exposure
- Ability to build customer relationships and provide a high standard of customer service
- Time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability prioritise in a demanding role
- Critical thinker
- Strong people management
