Are you someone who genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome? Do you thrive in a busy, purpose-driven environment where no two days are quite the same? Brain Injury SA is looking for a warm, organised and proactive Office Coordinator / Receptionist to be the heart of our Central Hub — a dynamic therapeutic environment supporting people living with acquired brain injury.
About Brain Injury SA
Brain Injury SA (BISA) is a service provider and voice for the acquired brain injury community in South Australia. We deliver tailored therapy and support services that empower people to live well and on their own terms. Our Rewire Hubs are collaborative, therapeutic environments where clients access a range of supports from an experienced allied health team, and advocates. We are a values-driven organisation — empathy, respect, empowerment and collaboration aren't just words on a wall. They shape how we work together and how we show up for our clients every day.
About the Role
Reporting to the Hub Team Leader, this is a pivotal role at the centre of hub operations. You'll be the first face clients see and the first voice they hear — and that matters enormously in a therapeutic setting. You'll keep the hub running smoothly behind the scenes while ensuring every client interaction is warm, professional and person-centred. This position is part time / job share (0.5 WTE).
Day-to-day, you will:
* Serve as the first point of contact — welcoming clients, answering phones and responding to enquiries with sensitivity and professionalism
* Coordinate and book client appointments in collaboration with therapists and the Service Co-ordinator, and monitor attendance
* Communicate with new participants about service agreements and program onboarding
* Facilitate clear communication between clients and the broader Rewire Team
* Provide accurate, confidential administrative support across hub and organisational functions
* Support IT functionality and general office operations including database management
* Manage hub opening and closing procedures, maintain facilities presentation and keep supplies stocked
* Contribute flexibly to broader organisational administrative needs as required
What We're Looking For
* Experience in reception and office coordination
* Strong administration skills including proficiency with software packages, CRM systems and databases
* A sensitive and responsive communication style — particularly when working with people in challenging circumstances
* Confidence with IT systems and a willingness to troubleshoot and support others
* The ability to self‐direct, prioritise and manage a varied workload proactively
* NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Knowledge of the NDIS and experience with scheduling or billing software (desirable)
What We Offer
* A genuinely supportive and collaborative team culture united by shared purpose
* Competitive salary conditions under the SCHCADS Award (Level 2–3 dependent on experience)
* Flexibility to support work/life balance
* A workplace that invests in your professional development and values your contribution
* Regular team training and the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause
All appointments are subject to satisfactory Disability Service and Child Safety worker screening.
EEO Statement
