Responsibilities
* Maintain the centre to a high level of cleanliness and tidiness, this includes client rooms and common areas.
* Provide clients accessing the service with a welcoming and responsive initial contact and ensure urgent and immediate needs are addressed.
* Take appropriate preventative action in relation to potential high risk situations.
* Provide assistance to assess client issues, needs and circumstances and develop strategies to address needs.
* Establish effective relationships with clients that encourage self‐determination and participation and support them to improve their situation.
* Provide support to clients to implement case plans in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practice.
* Assist clients to access support services and establish community supports.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV level qualification in a relevant field such as AOD, Mental Health or a related discipline and relevant experience.
* Ability to understand and respond to the needs of individuals experiencing AOD issues.
* Current and valid First Aid Certificate.
* Current Tasmanian driver's licence.
* Current Working with Vulnerable Persons Check.
* Willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
