About the Role
We are seeking passionate and skilled Chefs across multiple levels to join our kitchen team. These roles play a key part in delivering high-quality food, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to a positive and efficient team environment.
Whether you are an experienced Senior Sous Chef, or a driven Chef de Partie ready to grow, we offer an opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional kitchen focused on quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Food Preparation & Service
* Prepare and present high-quality dishes in a timely manner
* Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation
* Contribute to efficient service periods and smooth kitchen operations
Kitchen Operations
* Support day-to-day kitchen operations appropriate to your level
* Assist with or lead menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation
* Manage or support stock control, ordering, and storage of food supplies
* Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Team Leadership & Development
* Kitchen Operations Manager: Lead kitchen operations, department performance, running events
* Sous Chef: Support leadership, supervise staff, and manage service operations
* Chef de Partie: Take ownership of a section, support team execution, lead weddings
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff where applicable
* Work collaboratively to maintain a positive team culture
Compliance & Standards
* Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
* Contribute to continuous improvement of kitchen systems and processes
Skills & Experience
* Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III, IV or higher preferred)
* Experience in a professional kitchen appropriate to the level applied for
* Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Leadership capability (required for Sous Chef and Kitchen Operation Lead levels)
