Responsibilities
* Delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive primary healthcare to individuals, families, and communities.
* Promoting community health through educational initiatives.
* Administering immunizations as part of service delivery.
* Participating in an on-call roster to provide 24/7 emergency care to the community.
* Demonstrating the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a RAN or in ED or remote primary care.
* REC (Remote Emergency Cert)
* MEC (Maternity Emergency Cert)
* Advanced Life Support (ALS)
* BLS (Annually)
* ISTAT competent, certified and have access number
Essential Mandatory Training
* Aseptic technique: theory and practical assessment
* Medication safety competencies – all modules
* Blood safe – collecting blood specimens
* Fire and Emergency Procedures
* Infection Control and Hand Hygiene
* Recognition and management of clinical deterioration
* After Hours Assessment and Communication for PHC Nurses and AHPs
* Early Sepsis Recognition and Management (via RAHC eLearning)
* Cultural security and safety relevant to the Northern Territory
