Child and Adolescent Forensic Service Mental Health Case Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Case Worker to support children, young people and their families working with the Child and Adolescent Forensic Service in the community or at Banksia Hill Detention Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide mental health care services to children, young people and their families who are clients of CAFS.
* Engage in cultural liaison and family engagement where relevant and provide cultural interpretations to the broader CAFS teams.
* Contribute to the provision of mental health assessments and relevant interventions within a multidisciplinary environment.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes, documentation, and reports in compliance with organisational policies and requirements.
Requirements:
* Recognised tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Social Sciences, Aboriginal Studies and related disciplines.
* Demonstrated experience working in the mental health sector and/or with young people.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
* Ability to work full-time.
* An understanding of strength-based approaches to client services.
* Possession of a valid WA driver's licence and vehicle.
