As Australia accelerates towards a cleaner, smarter grid, we're expanding our service capability to support the long-term performance of our SolBank BESS technology across the country.
We're now seeking an experienced
Service Technician
to join our Long Term Service team working at our
Summerfield site
in
South Australia
. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who loves being on the tools, solving technical problems, and working directly on Australia's most exciting large-scale energy storage projects.
About the role
* Carry out commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure warranty and LTSA compliance on new BESS projects
* Support long-term service obligations across a range of BESS equipment including:
* Energy Storage Cabinets (ESCs)
* Power Conversion Stations (PCS)
* Ring Main Units / switchgear
* Transformers
* SCADA and network devices
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on-site to maintain system performance and availability.
* Supervise subcontractors when required and ensure all work is performed safely.
* Assist in developing standard operating procedures and best practices.
* Keep accurate work orders, service reports and spare parts inventory.
* Perform LOTO and switching procedures safely and correctly.
* Support client training during commissioning phases.
About You
* Qualified
Electrical Technician
with at least
5 years' experience
in a service or maintenance environment (renewables preferred).
* Experience with
BESS equipment, inverters, or power systems
in a field service context will be highly regarded
* Familiarity with SCADA systems is a bonus.
* Strong understanding of electrical codes, MV systems, and safe operating procedures.
* Proficiency with MS Office and ideally a CMMS platform.
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to regional sites.
* First Aid LVR & CPR trained (or willing to obtain)
* A professional, reliable, safety-first approach with strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
