About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Lift Technician to join our Melbourne team. This is a hands-on role that involves servicing, breakdown response, and installation of elevators across a range of residential and commercial projects.
You'll work directly with our service coordinators and project managers to ensure all lifts operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Australian Standards (AS1735 & AS3000).
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on a variety of lift systems.
* Carry out breakdown diagnosis, fault finding, and repairs in a timely manner.
* Assist with new lift installations, including assembly, wiring, and commissioning.
* Ensure all work meets company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Complete detailed service and maintenance reports via digital systems.
* Liaise professionally with clients, builders, and contractors on-site.
* Provide technical feedback and support for product improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in lift installation, servicing, or breakdown work.
* Strong understanding of AS1735 compliance, electrical safety, and lift mechanics.
* Electrical licence or mechanical trade qualification preferred.
* Experience with hydraulic, traction systems advantageous.
* Current Driver's Licence and ability to travel to multiple sites.
