Our Supply Department plays a vital role in procuring and managing the delivery of a wide range of clinical and non-clinical consumables, equipment, and capital items across the hospital.
Reporting to the Supply Manager and Theatre Prothesis Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the theatre team, ensuring that stock is available when and where it is needed. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, unpacking deliveries, maintaining stock levels, and providing usage reports to support effective supply chain management.
You will help ensure the smooth operation of hospital services by delivering a timely and efficient supply service.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking, packing, and delivering stock orders.
* Receiving and unpacking supplies.
* Supporting theatre departments by ensuring adequate stock availability.
* Preparing usage reports to maintain appropriate stock levels.
* Assisting in the handling and storage of sterile stock in line with AS4187 standards.
* Following up on back orders, alternate products and time sensitive stock.
About You
You are highly organised, proactive, and thrive in a busy, service-focused environment. Flexibility with shifts and the ability to prioritise competing demands will ensure your success in this role.
You will bring:
* Previous experience in a supply or stores role (hospital supply experience highly regarded).
* Knowledge of AS4187 standards for handling and storage of sterile stock.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Sound computer skills, including MS Office (SAP and RF Scanner experience desirable).
* A positive team focus and commitment to providing excellent service.
Renumeration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $27.30-$30.13 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

* Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
