About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team. This role involves working with participants who present with behaviours of concern, complex needs, and disability-related challenges, supporting them, their families, and support teams through:
* Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
* Development of Interim & Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
* Implementation strategies and skill-building supports
* Training and guidance for families and support staff
* Reducing and eliminating restrictive practices
* Ongoing review, reporting, and NDIS documentation
You will work autonomously in the community while being supported by a collaborative clinical team.
What We’re Looking For
You are:
✔ NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core, Proficient, or Advanced)
✔ Experienced working with complex behaviours and psychosocial disability
✔ Strong in assessment, formulation, and practical strategy development
✔ Confident working with families, schools, and support teams
✔ Organised with high-quality documentation skills
✔ Passionate about human rights, dignity, and positive behaviour support
Essential Requirements
* NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability (or ability to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check
* Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance (for subcontractors)
* Driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
* Relevant qualification (Psychology, Social Work, OT, Counselling, Behaviour Science, etc.) (desired, but not essential)
