As a Nurse Consultant‑Mental Health ABIS Eastern team, you'll lead safe, connected care, guide clinical practice and strengthen recovery‑focused outcomes. You'll shape standards, support nurses and drive key initiatives across our multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
* Lead clinical practice across the MHCP
* Guide nurses and support sound clinical decisions
* Drive projects that lift safety, quality and standards
* Deliver education, counselling and group support
* Build strong partnerships across the MHCP with NGOs, consumers and carers
About You
You're a confident, compassionate mental health nurse who leads with expertise, collaboration and a strong commitment to safe, recovery‑focused care. You bring the right qualifications, sound clinical judgement and the ability to guide practice, support others and influence positive change.
You'll Bring
* Current AHPRA registration and a Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in Mental Health Nursing
* Strong clinical leadership and change leadership capability
* Skilled planning, delivering and evaluating MH nursing care
* Confidence working autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams
* Knowledge of standards, legislation, recovery and safety frameworks
