Job Title: IT Support Specialist
West Technology is partnering with a highly successful Australian manufacturer to fill an opportunity for an IT Support Specialist. The company is a market leader in its sector, attributing its success to its passionate and committed employees.
About the Role
This position has arisen due to an internal promotion. The successful candidate will work in partnership with a centralised Helpdesk function as the IT resource on the ground, reporting to the National IT Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide prompt IT support to a user community of approximately 115 seats.
2. Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate if required.
3. Support and maintain IT Infrastructure including telephony hardware.
4. Provide support for Office 365 and Microsoft D365 platforms.
5. Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of Windows Servers and operating systems.
6. Support Local Area Networks including data management systems.
7. Manage IT assets across multiple sites to ensure service continuity.
8. Ensure IT security measures are updated and accurate.
About You
The ideal candidate will hold an IT tertiary qualification or relevant product certifications. They should have hands-on skills and experience operating at Level 2 and some Level 3 support functions. Technical proficiency with MS Office 365, particularly D365 experience, is highly regarded. Exposure to Windows servers is also valuable.
In addition, applicants must be excellent communicators who enjoy working with people at all levels of the business. They should be approachable and possess a customer service attitude.
