Assistant Coordinator Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Coordinator to lead our Outside School Hours Care service at a reputable state school. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have a desire to become a service leader.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, working with children aged 5-12 years, and developing engaging child-centered programs that include STEM activities, sports, cooking, art, and craft. Additionally, they will foster healthy relationships with children, parents, and the community, ensuring compliance and administration tasks are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Educators in providing high-quality care and education to children.
* Develop and implement programs that promote social, emotional, and academic growth in children.
* Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Manage administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a state school setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
