We are seeking a dedicated Day Roster Officer to join our Bulk West Team based in Welshpool.
This role is offered on a full-time permanent arrangement.
As a Day Roster Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining effective rosters, crew deployment, and operational systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Allocation:Allocate resources for scheduled services based operational requirements.
Service Plan Management:Assist with managing changes to service plans, asset loading, and resource allocations.
Address customer requirements and impacts of major disruptions.
Roster Management:Ensure safety-compliant crew rosters are accurate, entered into systems, and maintained to meet operational needs.
Crew Deployment:Place competent operational employees on rosters and monitor their deployment to meet operational demands.
Fatigue Management:Monitor fatigue management in line with rostering principles.
Customer Service Support:Aid the deployment team by handling phone calls and administrative tasks to provide excellent customer service.
Train List Information:Provide accurate and timely train list information to customers.
About You
System Proficiency:Ability to effectively use roster, crew allocation, train running, and fatigue management systems.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Team Player:Ability to work effectively as part of a team and deliver results.
Problem-Solving:Capability to identify operational issues and collaborate on solutions.
Analytical Skills:Good analytical skills and excellent time management.
Industrial Instruments:Experience with interpreting relevant Industrial Instruments such as Enterprise Agreements.
Communication:High-level verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills:Excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with employees and customers.
