Lead Data Engineer - Cyber - EL1 (Federal Government Client) — 3-year contract
Contract Duration: 03 Years (12 months initially + 24 months extension)
Work Location: Canberra – Onsite (5 days a week)
Eligibility: Baseline Security Clearance or above required
Tentative Start Date: 23 February 2026
Position Description: Candidate’s must understand Python development, large data sets, and the information that underpins the internet. Require experience with either distributed cloud systems or working programmatically with complex data and databases. The ability to design and automate work efficiently at scale.
- Design and development of software and cloud infrastructure for the micro-service architecture measurement system.
- Maintaining the accuracy of the team's scanning and attribution data.
- Developing code using best practice principles including source control, infrastructure as code, testing and code review.
- Supporting other parts of the team in consuming information and maintaining their outputs.
- Supporting the team's program through planning, data analysis, and high priority jobs as required.
