Our Company
Mackellar is one of Australia’s largest privately owned mining equipment & service providers in Mining and Civil Earthmoving. We are the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland. Production is in full swing at the mine site located in the Galilee Basin and we’re excited to be building our team!
About the role
Bring your Site Administrative experience and skills and become a part of the Carmichael Project. Townsville and Rockhampton are our primary recruitment hubs, we also encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the mine maintenance team
- You will be responsible for maintaining site records and registers, reporting, data entry, scheduling, creation and close of work-orders, PO system, filing and archiving documents as required
- General administrative support to on-site departments inclusive of; reporting, data entry, scheduling, minute taking, filing and archiving, and other ad hoc duties as required
Your skills and experience
- Ability to work a 8/6 roster
- Prior experience in mine site-based administrative position, experience within maintenance administration is highly regarded
- Experience in Outlook, Word and Excel processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures
- Proven ability to build positive working relationships with co-workers and respectfully interact with a wide variety of people in a diverse workforce
- Current Standard 11 and QLD Drivers Licence.
