⚡ Maintenance Electrician - Linen Services (Contract Role) Locations: Chermside & Woolloongabba Contract: 3-6 months ⏰ Schedule: 9-hour shifts (between 6:00am - 6:00pm) | 9-day fortnight About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join Linen Services (LS), part of the Supply Chain Surety Branch (SCB). This role supports critical hospital linen production facilities that service multiple Hospital and Health Services across Queensland. You will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance across specialised industrial laundry environments. Key duties include: Corrective and preventative maintenance Emergency breakdown response Minor capital and installation works Supporting equipment reliability across production operations ️ Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements Electrical Role Requirements: Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) or equivalent Current LVR/CPR (within 1 year) Valid C Class Driver's Licence Essential Safety Tickets (All Roles): Working at Heights (within 2 years) Confined Space Entry (within 2 years) RIIHAN301E - Operate Elevating Work Platform (Scissor Lift & Boom Lift endorsements, within 5 years) Employment Conditions: Must be willing to undergo a Police Check Must be, and remain, vaccinated against Hepatitis B ⭐ Highly Desirable Experience Previous experience in a production or industrial laundry facility Exposure to high-volume manufacturing or maintenance environments Additional trade tickets or ancillary competencies About Linen Services Linen Services provides essential linen supply and laundering services to seven Hospital and Health Services across Queensland, including Metro North, Metro South, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay, and more.
