About the position
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator, Library Learning Services (General), you’ll work closely with Senior Learning Librarians and Academic Skills Advisors across a diverse range of disciplines- including Business, Law, Education, Humanities, and STEM- to embed tailored learning support into the curriculum. You’ll help design and deliver engaging, pedagogically grounded learning activities and resources that build students’ academic, information, and digital literacy skills.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;
o A degree in information management or a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training/experience.
o Demonstrated experience in delivery of on-demand services, including online and face-to-face classes, weekend and out of hours work, and library systems such as Alma.
o Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of learning and teaching principles, and the role of the academic library in learning and teaching processes and workflows.
o Experience in developing and delivering programs to meet the learning needs of varying student cohorts in an academic library enviroment, including undergraduate, postgraduate, regional and international; and with specific focus on inclusion and diversity.
o Demonstrated understanding of, and experience with digital learning resources and pedagogy, including resource development, creative technologies, and online learning pedagogy.
