About the role
As a Fixed plant fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of our processing plant. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you'll carry out day‐to‐day mechanical maintenance across all areas of the plant, always delivering high‐quality workmanship and maintaining a strong safety focus.
In this role, you will:
* Perform scheduled daily and weekly maintenance on fixed plant equipment in line with Evolution procedures
* Troubleshoot mechanical issues and source technical information from manuals, bulletins and service documents
* Support periodic shutdowns as required by the maintenance program
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with standards and compliance requirements
* Contribute to creating a safe and healthy work environment through hazard identification, reporting and proactive safety behaviours
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers and contractors, including providing clear handovers and updates
About you
You're a safety‐focused, hands‐on tradesperson with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for maintaining reliable plant operations. You work well both independently and as part of a team, and you take pride in producing quality work.
You will bring:
* A Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Mechanical Fitting or Fitting & Machining) or Fabrication Trade qualifications
* Experience in fixed plant maintenance within a mining environment
* Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritise planned and unplanned work effectively
* A commitment to maintaining safe work practices and following established procedures and standards
* Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across departments
* The ability to work in all areas of the plant and remain flexible to changing work requirements

Schedule and Location
This is an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, working 10‐hour days. This role will be residential to Kalgoorlie.
