About Wi-Fi technology, we're at the forefront of next-generation innovation. Our products are designed to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving market, providing superior performance and reliability.
Job Overview
You'll be responsible for designing, integrating, verifying, and bringing up a wireless standard to be used in our family of chips. You'll work with digital, systems, and firmware teams to architect and verify the standard, ensuring functional and performance goals are achieved.
Your day-to-day will involve circuit design and simulation using contemporary languages and tools. You'll work closely with the team to address and improve digital and system aspects of the design. You'll also help with bringup of the standard on silicon, evaluate performance of pre-production silicon, and take your design to high-volume mass production.
Responsibilities:
Develop a wireless standard in Scala (Chisel), System Verilog, and C
Verify the wireless standard in RTL simulators, SDF-annotated gate level simulators, and AMS simulators using SystemVerilog, Verilog-A, Matlab, C, and Python
Work closely with Systems team to achieve best performance
Collaborate with Analog & RF to define and improve radio interface
Work with Firmware team to develop embedded standard firmware
Assist with bringup of silicon in the lab and debug standard performance
Requirements:
BSc/MSc/PhD in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or Computer Science
3+ years experience as a wireless IC Design Engineer
Solid understanding of signal processing with emphasis on HW implementation
Proven experience developing multiple signal processing blocks in complex SoCs
Understanding of wireless standard layer and familiarity with Wi-Fi HaLow
Deep understanding of digital design fundamentals including low power and multi-clock-domain design
Hands-on experience with Cadence or Synopsys simulation suite
Experience with Linux development environment staples such as make, shell scripts, and Python
Bonus Requirements:
Experience performing standard bringup, debug, and performance measurement on silicon in the lab
Good understanding of embedded processors, familiarity with RISC-V is a plus
Solid understanding of mixed-signal ASIC design and simulation
Experience using the git revision control tool
