Assistant Principal - Curriculum
to oversee the Curriculum Office and support the coordination of the school's operational and curriculum goals. Reporting to the
Principal/Business Manager

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the development, maintenance, and operations of relevant systems and administrative resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures
* Coordinate daily administrative tasks, monitor workloads, and promote teamwork, skill development, and school pride.
* Develop and interpret legislations, regulations, procedures and guidelines for school administration.
* The Learning Dashboard (TLD) - configuration and administration of database for all reporting and report production
* Parent teacher interview administration support
* Subject Selection administration support - booklets, PowerPoints, information night administration, SET Planning
* Timetabling support - subject selection (Web Preference Manager) and subject changes
* Mentoring administration support
* QCAA admin support - Applications (specifically including the Student Management Application and Assessor Jobs), VET administration
* Assessment planning/documentation/preparation/administration - including Mock Exam and External Assessment and Assessment Calendars
* Special Consideration processes
* Verification, monitoring, confirmation and review administration
* Standardised testing administration support - including but not limited to NAPLAN, PATR, PATM DIBELS
* Timetables set up and updates, data management for excellence and growth awards
* Coordination of secretarial assistance to Assistant Principal and Curriculum Leader - Senior Years Performance and Pathways and Curriculum Leader - Middle Years Performance and Growth
* Coordination of secretarial assistance to Curriculum Leaders and teaching staff as required - proofing, editing, formatting, scanning, printing, collating and uploading of documents
* Other duties as directed by the Principal/Business Manager
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
* Overseeing and improving systems and administrative resources, having recommended and implemented process enhancements
* Coordinated daily administrative tasks, managed workloads and fostered teamwork
* Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and procedures related to school operations
* Managing procurement activities and financial administration
* Marketing and promoting administrative services, ensuring programs align with school needs and current trends
* For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
* Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
