About You
Successful applicants will have experience working with participants with complex needs. Experience working with participants with challenging behaviour would be considered highly desirable. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be highly organised, have flexibility to work across day shifts and active night shifts. You would be willing to attend training and be open to learning new skills. You will be committed to providing quality and professional supports. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks and be a team player.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking applicants with experience supporting individuals with high and complex needs. Proficiency in documentation and confident communication skills are highly valued.
The participant is an exceptional individual who requires thoughtful and consistent support not only in his home but also to access his community on a daily basis. We are committed to ensuring his routines, relationships, and activities are supported with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high quality, professional support in participants\' homes and community settings
- Work flexibly across a variety of shifts, including overnight sleepover shifts
- Participate in buddy shifts and attend required training sessions
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Blue Card and Yellow Card (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- PEG feeding experience
- Hoist operation training
- Ability to safely operate a van
- Support the person community involvement
The successful applicant must be reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering client focused support. BTSS offers an attractive overnight rate and provides buddy shifts and training to ensure a smooth on boarding experience.
