About Your New Job
Tamworth Hospital are looking for Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to work across multiple wards. You will receive supernumerary shifts to support learning of the role and ongoing support from ENs, RNs and the Nurse Unit Manager. The team is committed to guiding and empowering you throughout every stage of your nursing journey, encouraging ongoing professional development.

Tamworth Hospital is the principal referral hospital for the northern sector of HNELHD, servicing a population of over 180,000 people. As a major rural referral facility, it provides a wide range of specialist services, including emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation, and outpatient services. Located in the vibrant regional centre of Tamworth, the hospital is a teaching facility affiliated with the University of Newcastle.

Requirements
Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (completion of identified foundational units in practice AND 120 hours of clinical placement).
Additional Information
To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified.
