to recruit an experienced
Electrical Estimator - Switchboards.

The role
We are recruiting for a Electrical Estimator working heavily across switchboards, where you will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive estimates across a diverse range of switchboard projects. You will work closely with internal engineering and sales teams, as well as external suppliers and clients, playing a key role in securing new work and supporting continued growth.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and compliance requirements
* Ensuring all estimates comply with AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000, and Victorian SIRs
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors
* Providing technical input to sales and engineering teams
* Negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing
* Delivering estimates within defined deadlines
About You
You are an estimator with experience in switchboards or the electrical contracting industry and a focus on quality and accuracy.
You Will Bring
* 2-5 years' experience in switchboards or the electrical contracting industry
* Strong knowledge of switchboard construction, compliance standards, and industry best practices
* Proficiency in estimating tools and Excel (SimPRO or similar systems highly regarded)
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong attention to detail and time management
