About this opportunity
Reporting to the Team Leader of EITS, you will join a team of Allied Health Professionals and early childhood educators providing tailored services to children and youth funded through NDIS (ages 0-18). Our psychology team also works with consumers across the lifespan. Your role involves:
* Supporting children aged 0-7 using a key worker model, collaborating with team members like occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and others
* Delivering evidence-based interventions, assessments, and parent education to support participation in community and educational settings
* Conducting face-to-face consultations in natural environments, schools, kindergartens, and therapy spaces
This is a full-time position (38 hours/week), with flexibility for part-time (0.8 – 30.4 hours/week). We offer flexible working arrangements, including scheduled anchor days at one of our offices (Narre Warren, Berwick, Cranbourne, Pakenham, Warragul) and IT equipment (Surface Pro, mobile, monitor) to support outreach and WFH options.
Key Selection Criteria
* Qualifications in Psychology and current registration with AHPRA
* Experience with paediatric practice (0-18) and working with adults
* Willingness to register with NDIA as a behavior practitioner
* Knowledge of typical development and neurodivergent conditions (autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay)
* Skills in assessment, planning, and evaluation for children and families
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Efficient time management to meet KPIs and deliver high-quality, responsive service
* Competence with ICT tools like telehealth
* Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, and accessible practices
* Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening (Working with Children, Police check, medical)
* Legal right to work in Australia (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
