About Our Client
A Western Australian based specialist contractor delivering rope access and height safety solutions across mining, oil and gas, marine and infrastructure sectors. About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Operational support officer. This role is offering a Monday to Friday roster, based in Jandakot.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Perform general tasks within IFS including, but not limited to:
* Support the setup of sales contracts for prepared quotes, as required.
* Complete all project setups for WA TRA operations.
* Update sales contracts to reflect project details as required.
* Assist with creating purchase orders as required.
* Monitoring completed projects and shutdowns and assisting with tender close-outs.
* Receipting purchase orders once approved by the relevant manager.
* Prepare reports from IFS as requested by Superintendents or Head of Operations.
* Review prepared claims in IFS prior to submission.
* Reconcile project-related costs and assist in financial process
* Run necessary operational and financial reports on a monthly basis.
* Assist Operations Managers with WIP (Work In Progress) reviews.
* Assist with quoting shutdowns and small projects in collaboration with Operations Managers and relevant teams.
* Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives across operational and financial workflows.
Skills & Experience Required
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Previous experience in a similar operations or administrative role
* Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to work closely with the Operations team and other departments
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Proven ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands
* Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the business
