* Position Title: Disability Support Worker
* Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 + Superannuation Annually
* Employment Type: Full-time
* Work Location: In person
We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Cairns region. This full-time position involves providing high-quality support and care to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhance their daily living. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care assistance, including hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
* Assist clients with mobility and transportation, including driving to appointments and activities.
* Support clients with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
* Administer medication and monitor clients' health, ensuring all medical needs are met.
* Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote community engagement and social inclusion.
* Document and report on clients' progress and any changes in their condition.
* Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they receive appropriate services and support.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support workers to deliver holistic care.
* Attend training sessions and workshops to maintain and enhance professional skills and knowledge.

* Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Disabilities
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate
* QLD driver's license
* A roadworthy registered vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance
* Worker Clearance screening (yellow card)
* Current Police Check
* Right to work in Australia
