Seeking multiple Risk Management Professionals
About these opportunities:
We are working with a government agency to fill various roles within the Risk, Audit and Assurance streams. The key duties for these roles include:
Risk Stream:
- Providing guidance on risk management to stakeholders, including business risk identification, assessment and mitigation advice, risk workshop facilitation, and assistance in the preparation of Risk Management Plans.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of the operational risk management framework documentation, including all guidance materials, tools and templates.
- Developing communication products to raise awareness of the operational risk management processes and the availability of tools to support internal stakeholders.
- Contributing to the preparation of reports on risk management activities to various committees.
- Providing secretariat assistance.
Assurance Stream:
- Coordination of the Compliance Assurance Program, ensuring that assurance practitioners are provided with appropriate support to undertake compliance assurance checks.
- Contributing to policy development and continuous improvement in relation to compliance assurance and the program.
- Contributing to the drafting of the program's annual work plan, relevant policy and procedural instructions and briefings for senior executives.
- Preparing complex and/or sensitive written communication material for the section with a high level of proficiency, including operational reports, operating guidelines and executive briefs.
Audit Stream:
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of an internal audit database to form a whole picture of what audits and investigations are taking place.
- Contributing to the coordination role on behalf of the agency for Australian National Audit Office audits.
- Analyzing internal and external audit activities to identify areas of improvement.
- Working closely with the Risk and Assurance streams to identify audits that could form themes for future compliance assurance checks.
- Preparing complex and/or sensitive written communication material for the section with a high level of proficiency, including operational reports, operating guidelines and executive briefs.
Desirable skills and experience for all streams:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Sound organizational, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to produce documents that require minimal review before finalisation.
