This may include the use of standardised assessment tools such as the Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in adults (DIVA-5), Young DIVA-5 for the diagnosis of ADHD in children and adolescents, Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing Autism Spectrum (MIGDAS) and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).The right candidate will have the opportunity to carve out a role conducting assessments and also supporting the Access Psych team to grow and oversee the assessment arm of the business. Alternatively, there is an option to complete a diverse hybrid role conducting assessments and also delivering authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Assessment Services.This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients whilst working in a supportive and innovative team. The role is available part-time or full-time depending on your preference and can encompass a mix of face to face and work from home work. In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day whilst avoiding the risk of burnout or clinical fatigue.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals;Work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case mangers and employers to assist people return to work and/or fully re-engage with the community;Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards;If you have experience in delivering cognitive assessments, ADHD assessments and/or Autism assessments, there may be further opportunities to support Access Psych to meet the growing demand in this area of practice.The BenefitsWhen you join Access Psych, you join one of Australia’s most reputable mental health service providers. But first, you need to meet a few mandatory requirements:General Psychologist Registered with AHPRA.
